Overview — What is Trezor® Suite?
Trezor® Suite is the official desktop and web companion application for Trezor® hardware wallets. It provides a secure interface to view balances, sign transactions offline, manage accounts, and perform firmware updates. The suite works together with your physical Trezor® wallet to keep private keys isolated from the internet while giving modern wallet functionality.
Download & first steps
To begin, visit trezor.io/start. Choose the Trezor® Suite Download for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux). In many cases you will also be asked to install Trezor® Bridge—a small helper that enables secure communication between the app (or browser) and the Trezor® device. If prompted, follow the Trezor Bridge Download link on the start page and install it before connecting your device.
How login works
Trezor® Wallet Login is device-based: you unlock the hardware using a PIN on the device, then confirm actions (addresses, amounts) physically on the Trezor® screen. There is no cloud password — your seed and PIN stay with the device. When apps prompt for Trezor login, always verify actions on the device’s screen and never enter your recovery seed into any website or app.
Troubleshooting common connection & login issues
- Trezor Login not working / Unable to login Trezor: Check the USB cable and port, reinstall Trezor® Bridge, and ensure you use the official Trezor® Suite App or site at
trezor.io/start. - Error Connecting Trezor Account: Close other wallet apps, restart your computer, and reconnect the device. Try the desktop Suite if the web version fails.
- Trezor suite App not Working / Can't verify Trezor® Wallet: Update device firmware, update the Suite app, and clear browser cache if using web Suite.
- Troubleshooting Trezor login Issues: If PIN attempts are failing, ensure you are entering the correct PIN. For persistent problems, use the Help Center resources below.
- Trezor 2fa reset: Trezor® does not use centralized two-factor authentication tied to a server; recovery and access are controlled by the physical device and the recovery seed. There is no vendor-managed "2fa reset"—recover funds with your recovery seed on a new device.
Account recovery & safety
If you lose access to your Trezor® device, restore using your 12/18/24-word recovery seed on a new Trezor® hardware wallet or compatible recovery tool. Keep your recovery seed offline and stored in multiple secure physical locations. If you suspect compromise, move funds after recovery to a fresh wallet.
